Donald Trump, a candidate for president of the United States, reaffirmed his determination to see cryptocurrencies more favourably than the current Biden administration.
In a birthday speech, former US President Donald Trump pledged to halt US President Joe Biden’s “war on crypto” should he be elected this year. In a special speech in West Palm Beach, Florida, Trump declared, “I will end Joe Biden’s war on crypto and we will ensure that the future of crypto and the future of Bitcoin, will be made in America, we’re going to keep it right here, and a lot of it is going to be done right here in Florida.” June 14, his 78th birthday, was the day of the event. This isn’t the first time Trump has attacked Biden for his new tough stance on cryptocurrency.
He attacked Biden on May 26 while making the case that the United States should not accept anything less than the top spot in the cryptocurrency market. “The worst president in our nation’s history, crooked Joe Biden, wants it to pass away slowly and painfully. In a message published on May 25, he stated, “That will never happen with me.” Truth Social is a social media network run by Trump Media and Technology Group.
In the 2024 presidential contest, Trump and Biden will face off on November 5, which is also the day of the American election.
His pledge to establish Florida as a major cryptocurrency hub coincides with the news that, according to CoinLedger data, Florida was rated the “best state” in the nation for cryptocurrency taxation. Based on data from CoinLedger, Florida was found to be the best state for crypto taxation since it has no state income tax and has crypto-friendly regulations, including a pilot programme that allows firms to pay state fees in cryptocurrency.
The worst state was declared to be New York. On June 12, Trump stated that he wants the last of the Bitcoin to be mined in the United States, demonstrating his support for the sector.
