According to Proactive Investors, Animoca Brands has signed a memorandum of understanding with NEC Global, a Japanese multinational information technology and electronics company, and Gryfyn Holdings Limited, a Web3 company focused on NFT. The three companies will cooperate to expand the digital wallet business in the Web3 field. The three companies agreed to the following terms: to provide software and technology related to the Gryfyn service developed by Animoca Brands with Gryfyn; to provide software and technology related to digital wallet technology owned by NEC; to cooperate with NEC Japan, Animoca Brands and Gryfyn’s accelerator program. The accelerator program aims to enhance the business ideas of Web3 startups, integrate them into the NEC, Animoca Brands and Gryfyn ecosystems, and consider joint commercialization.
