layer-1 blockchain with an emphasis on gaming The tenth-largest blockchain by activity, Worldwide Asset Exchange (WAX), has agreed to use AWS and include its network into the AMB (Amazon Managed Blockchain) service.
The purpose of the AMB service is to help developers create decentralised applications, or dapps, on public and private blockchains.
WAX developers will be able to deploy nodes via the AWS dashboard and use those nodes to develop on the WAX blockchain by integrating into AMB.
Recent data indicates that the native token of the blockchain, {{WAX}}, has increased by over 20% during the course of the day. Nonetheless, the cryptocurrency market has increased 1.6% overall. After the news, WAX increased by a further 5.6% before falling back to $0.111.
According to a statement from WAX CTO Lukas Sliwka, “the new partnership between WAX and Amazon Web Services is a major next step on our journey to the mass adoption of Web3.”
According to Dappradar data, WAX has enabled 141 million transactions in the last 30 days with 666,000 distinct active wallets. The network offers 160 Web3 games on its platform, one of which being Brawlers, a trading card game that joined the ranks of popular games like Apex legends and Call of Duty
