Following the Kroll Data Leak, Binance CEO CZ warns users against phishing attacks

The CEO of Binance, Changpeng Zhao, also known by his initials CZ, recently raised a troubling issue on his Twitter platform. New phishing assaults are reportedly a threat to users of renowned cryptocurrency exchanges FTX, BlockFi, and Genesis. It is thought that the Kroll data leak is directly responsible for this rise in harmful activity. It’s intriguing that this leak appears to have its origins in a SIM swap that was done on a worker.

CZ wrote in a tweet, “New waves of phishing assaults currently underway for the unfortunate users of FTX, BlockFi, and Genesis as a result of the Kroll data leak, which appears to be the result of a SIM switch on an employee.

Phishing attacks, which are deceptive techniques used by malevolent parties to get sensitive information by impersonating reliable sources, are on the rise.
