Vitalik Buterin is in possession of a Taiwan employment gold card.

An unexpected discovery was revealed at a discussion that included Vitalik Buterin, the co-founder of Ethereum, Audrey Tang, Matters’ co-founder and current CEO Zhang Jieping, and Taiwan’s Digital Minister.

Vitalik Buterin’s identity as a holder of the Taiwan Employment Gold Card was made known when Minister Tang made a slip of the tongue when addressing Taiwan’s policy on the distribution of 6,000 yuan. This information was accidentally made public.

The Taiwan Employment Gold Card is a unique programme that was created to entice bright people from other countries to visit Taiwan and boost the economy of the island. Those with degrees or certifications in a particular field were the target audience for this programme.

An Alien Resident Certificate (ARC), a work permit, a residency visa, and a re-entry permission are all integrated into The Card, a complete document. With the use of this integration, the cardholder can enter and exit Taiwan legally, work legally, live legally, demonstrate their right to be in Taiwan, and travel legally.

A stay in Taiwan that lasts more than 180 days is permitted for cardholders. A one- to three-year period determines the card’s own validity. This card’s versatility in terms of travel is one of its key benefits. The bearer may leave and enter Taiwan as many times as desired during the duration of validity without encountering any limitations.

This comprehensive strategy makes it easier for professionals to live and work in Taiwan by streamlining the administrative procedure. By providing a streamlined procedure, it demonstrates Taiwan’s dedication to luring and keeping top talent from around the world.
